How to Get to Kamay ni Hesus in Lucban, Quezon?

If you planning on visiting the Shrine, here's how:

FROM MANILA:
1.  Take a taxi, jeepney or bus going to the designated bus terminals for Jac Liner, Jam Liner or Lucena Lines. I always ride Jac Liner bus because they are new, the seats are comfortable and I feel safe with them.  Not to mention there’s a free wi-fi on board.

JAC LINER
Buendia Terminal
Donada St. corner Buendia, Pasay City
(632)404-2073
Regular Trips: 2 am to 10 pm
Midnight Trips: 11 pm & 12 am

Kamias Terminal
2 Mapagmahal St. Bgy. Pinyahan, cor Edsa, QC
928-6140
Regular Trips: 2 am to 10 pm
Midnight Trips: 11 pm & 12 am
(24 Hours Operation)
Visit their website for more details, www.jacliner.com.

2.  At the bus terminal, look for the bus with a signboard Lucena “Lucena City/Grand Central” or “Lucena/Dalahican”.  Tell the conductor to drop you at Diversion Road.

3.  At Diversion Road, take a jeepney going to Lucban, it passes by the Kamay ni Hesus The terminal is located just beside Jollibee. Regular fare is Php30.00 and it takes less than an hour.

FROM LUCENA TOWN PROPER:
1.  From Lucena town proper, take a jeepney going to Domoit, then ask the driver to drop you off at the Diversion Road.  Regular fare is Php8.00.

2.  From Diversion Road, ride a jeepney going to Lucban. The terminal is located just beside Jollibee. Regular Fare is Php30.00.  Ask the driver to drop you off at the Kamay ni Hesus. It's very popular even with the locals so you won't get lost.

FROM LUCBAN TOWN PROPER:
1.  At the town proper, you can either take a jeepney bound for Lucena or hire a tricycle going to Kamay ni Hesus.  To avoid hassle, you can just hire a tricycle for only Php25.00 and it only takes 5 minutes.

Helpful Tips:
Jeepneys waiting at the terminal outside the shrine doesn't leave until it's full so you will wait a lot longer. You can ride a jeepney that passes by from Lucban, but you have to walk past the shrine because it won't stop near the terminal. That's to give respect to the jeepney drivers at the terminal.

    1. Hi, the nearest hotel sa Kamay ni Jesus is the Batis Aramin Resort & Hotel (http://www.lakwatserangligaw.com/2014/09/batis-aramin-resort-hotel.html). It's just opposite the shrine, a 5-minute walk from the main road. Meron di pong mga hotels sa Lucban town proper pero you will have to take a jeepney or tricycle to bring you sa Kamay ni Jesus. Travel is about 10 to 15 minutes.

    1. Hi, it depends on the traffic, but normally it only takes 3 hours. Lagi kaseng traffic sa may Sariaya, Quezon at ung 3 hours minsan nagiging 6 hours. It's best to leave Buendia ng gabi or madaling araw para iwas traffic. I believe ithey open and if you booked sa kanila just tell them your time of arrival.

    1. Hi Jherday, sorry for the late reply, I hope it's not too late. Travel time from Cavite to Lucban is almost the same if you are coming from Manila. But like I said, due to traffic it might be longer than that.

    1. Hi Coleen, the only resort that I know of na malapit sa Kamay ni Hesus ay ang Batis Aramin. Meron din silang man made na falls. But if you want to really go to the beach, head to Sariaya although hindi sia white sand. For white sands, go to Pagbilao.

    1. Hi Memei, thanks for visiting my blog. To get back to Manila, take the jeepney bound for Lucena/Bayan from Kamay ni Hesus and get off sa Diversion Road. From there take the bus bound for Cubao or Alabang and get off at the nearest provincial bus station to your place. Please note that provincial buses have designated bus stops and it's also limited.

Make sure you get on the bus bound for Alabang or ask the conductor.

    1. Hi Chen, mas malapit ang Sta. Cruz, Laguna from Calamba compare to Lucena. It takes an estimated 1 hour and 16 minutes getting to Sta. Cruz, Laguna while 2 hours and 23 minutes to Lucena from Calamba. Please note lang that this is just an estimation, the travel time will still depend on the route you take and the traffic. Thanks

    1. I haven't tried going to Lucban via the Grand Terminal. But to give you an idea, from manila mas mauuna ang Diversion Road bago ang Grand Central Terminal. I'm not sure if there's another route from Grand Central going to Lucban or bababalik sia to take the same route as the one from Diversion Road. I hope I could be of help.

  21. thanks sa mga info.. un pong jeep sa diversion road 24 hours po ba?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hi, sorry pero ang alam ko hindi 24 hours ang mga jeep sa Diversion Road. It's still a province so kung meron mang bibiyahe limited lang. Ung sa Grand Terminal, I saw some kapag hating gabi when I'm going home to Marindque pero hindi ko rin po alam kung limited lang din. Also, medyo kapag po alanganing oras medyo konti rin ang pasahero so kung meron mang biyahe, medyo matagal po kayo magaantay bago umalis dahil nagpupuno po sila.

  22. from manila meron pong nagsabi na pwede daw po DLTB to Pagsawitan Sta Cruz Laguna. Pigtapos sakay ng jeep puntang lucban. malapit at mura pa daw compare puntang Lucena(Diversion Rd.)

    1. Hi, marami naman pong route papuntang Lucban from Laguna, Batangas or Quezon. If you will travel from Pagsawitan, Sta Cruz, Laguna, you're coming from the other side to Lucban. Diversion Road is on the other side. Estimated travel from Pagsawitan to Kamay ni Hesus is 1 hour and 5 minutes while from Diversion Road it's 48 minutes. You might want to take the route above if you want to drop by the town of Tayabas. Hope this helps.

  23. From Manila po ang concern ko. Manila to sta cruz (Pagsawitan) to lucban is abt. 120 km. Manila to diversion to lucban is abt. 170 km. Di po ba malaki ang difference?

    1. Good morning po, If mag commute po kayo, the best option na mabibigay ko sa inyo is to take the bus going to Quezon City (specific bus terminal from Bataan), then from there take a bus po going to Lucena/Dalahican and follow the instructions above. Estimated travel time po is 6 hours from Bataan. Kahit po kase saan, traffic na so the best you can do is leave early (madaling araw) para iwas traffic. Hope this helps.

    1. Hi Leno, I'm not sure if merong biyahe ang bus straight sa Lucena from Sta. Rosa. Pero try mo this, go to Balibago Transport Terminal sa Sta Rosa tapos take the bus going to Tanuan, Batangas or magtanong ka doon kung anong trip ang dadaan sa Turbina, Calamba. Baba ka sa Turbina, then take Jac, Jam or Lucena Lines papuntang Dalahican/Lucen or Grand Termina na dumadaan sa highway, tapos baba ka sa Diversion Road. Then take the jeepney going to Lucban, Quezon.
