Ngong Ping Piazza

The path from Ngong Ping Village will lead you to the Ngong Ping Piazza, where the Twelve Divine Generals are lined up. They are believed to be protectors of the Buddha. The Piazza is visible as soon as you passed though the archway of the Ngong Ping Village.

Ngong Ping Village

From the descending car to Ngong Ping Station, you will already see the Big Buddha and glimpse of the Ngong Ping Village. When I was preparing our itinerary, I thought this is a real village with the locals. What I have in mind the the village like what they showed in Kung Fun Panda (LOL).

Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car

When I was preparing our itinerary for our Hong Kong trip, I was so excited to ride the Ngong Ping Cable Car. I'm afraid of height but when it comes to trying new things and have an adventure, it won't stop me.

How to Get to Ngong Ping 360?

Ngong Ping Village is the first attraction we visited when we're in Hong Kong. We went there straight from the airport to save time since our arrival is early. In all of our trips, I'm always the one who prepared the itinerary and I always make sure that we spend our time wisely, besides traveling is not free. If you are planning on going there as soon as you arrive in Hong Kong, here's how:

Twelve Divine Generals at Ngong Ping 360

Lined up along the path to the Po Lin Monastery & the Big Buddha in Ngong Ping are the statues of the Twelve Divine Generals or the Twelve Heavenly Generals. They are the protective deities of the Buddha of Healing or the Medicine Buddha, Yakishi Nyurai. They originated in India, but in other countries they are believed to be the attendants of an Armor-clad God or Warrior that protects the righteous.

Nan Lian Garden

From all the tourist sports I've been to in Hong Kong, this is the one I love the most. It's very peaceful, serene, quiet and relaxing. It feels like a magical forest at the center of all the tall buildings. Every time my friends ask me about Hong Kong, I'm too excited to tell them about this garden. I can't stop my self showing them the pictures I took while telling them how I would love to go back. I can stay there all day reminiscing or just taking in the classical beauty of the place.

Silka Seaview Hotel

Silka Seaview Hotel is conveniently located near the Jade Market & Temple Street Market. It's just only less than 5 minutes walk to Yau Ma Tei MTR Station. We've booked to this hotel because it's the cheapest of all the hotels around this area. During daytime, the streets looks normal, but when night time comes, it turns into a very busy market.
