How to Get to Silka Seaview Hotel, Yau Ma Tei?

Silka Seaview, Hong Kong is situated in Yau Ma Tei, just a footstep away from Yau Ma Tei MTR Station and right next to the Temple Street Market and Jade Market. See below on how to get to the hotel.

From the Airport:
1. After the immigration process, walk your way past the customs and get into the Airport Express and get off at Tsing Yi MTR Station.

2. At Tsing Yi MTR Station, interchange platform 4 and take the MTR bound for Hong Kong, then get off at Lai King MTR Station.

3. At Lai King MTR Station, interchange platform 2 and take the MTR bound for Central and get off at Yau Ma Tei MTR Station.

4. At Yau Ma Tei Station, take the Exit C and head to Nathan Road.
Important Note: Yau Ma Tei Station has no elevator or escalator, so you will have to carry your luggage up to road that will lead you to the hotel. If I remember correctly, there are 2 flights of stairs and not an easy one when you are carrying a heavy luggage.

5. When you reach, Nathan Road, turn right and continue walking until you see on your right side the Kings de Nathan Hostel.

6. Walk past that hostel until you reach the next street where a basketball court is located on the corner-right side and the park on the other side of the street. Facing Eaton Hotel, turn right when you see the basketball court on your right.
7. Continue walking way past the 2 small streets (Temple St. & Arthur St.) until you reach the hotel. Silka Seaview hotel is located at the corner facing the Yau Ma Tei Community Centre Rest Garden.
It takes approximately 45 minutes to get to the hotel and costs HK$65.00 AirExpress Ticket (US$8.33). Changing platforms is free when using your Octopus Card.

From anywhere in Hong Kong, just get to the nearest MTR Station and take the train and the interchange until you get to Yau Ma Tei MTR Station.

The hotel has a complimentary in-town shuttle bus service is available to take you to specific drop-off points.
