During our first visit to Sagbayan Peak, we were so caught up in the views and attractions that we didn’t get the chance to try the food. Thankfully, on our return, we made it a point to dine at Cafe Baudilio—and it didn’t disappoint.
The restaurant is perched right at the top of the Sagbayan Peak complex, giving diners a panoramic view of Bohol’s iconic Chocolate Hills. The cool breeze, the peaceful atmosphere, and the incredible natural scenery make this not just a meal—but an experience.
๐ช Pro Tip: Sit by the Window
If you're planning to eat here, choose a table facing the hills. There’s nothing like enjoying a hot, freshly cooked meal while taking in that serene, otherworldly landscape.
๐ฅ What We Ordered
Cafe Baudilio offers a variety of Filipino comfort food at very reasonable prices. Here’s what we tried:
- ๐ Sizzling Bangus – Crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside. Served on a sizzling plate that kept it warm throughout the meal.
- ๐ท Lechon Macau – Crunchy pork belly, perfectly seasoned. Each bite had the right amount of fat and crisp.
- ๐ Sinigang na Panga ng Tanigue – Tangy and savory soup with a generous serving of fish jaw (panga). The tamarind broth was comforting and perfect for the cool weather.
- ๐ Fried Chicken with Gravy – Golden brown and kid-friendly, served with rich homemade gravy.
๐ฌ “The food was cooked just right, fresh ingredients made all the difference, and the staff? So friendly and warm!”
๐ Friendly Vibes & Fresh Air
Aside from the food, what really stood out was the service and setting. The staff were incredibly accommodating, and the ambiance was peaceful and relaxing. Dining here felt like a reward after exploring the park.
