🍴 A Tasty Pit Stop After a Heritage Walk
On our second visit to Cebu, I brought my family to AA’s Barbeque near Plaza Independencia—not just for a good meal, but also because it’s strategically located close to two of Cebu’s most iconic landmarks:
📍 Fort San Pedro
📍
Plaza
Independencia
I had eaten at their A.S. Fortuna branch before and loved the experience, so I wanted my family to try it too.
🪑 Bigger Branch, But Fewer Seafood Options
This branch at MJ Cuenco, Legaspi Ext. is definitely more spacious than the one in A.S. Fortuna. It's a popular spot among locals, especially during lunchtime.
🍽️ Menu Note:
While the menu is more limited and didn’t offer much fresh seafood
compared to the other branch, we were still able to order a few dishes that
satisfied our cravings. The taste was good—simple and homey, just like the food
we usually enjoy every day.
🥤 Must-Try: Their fresh fruit juice is still unforgettable—cool, refreshing, and perfect for a hot Cebu day!
🍨 The Highlight? Unlimited Dirty Ice Cream!
Now here’s something unexpected and delightful:
🍦
Unlimited Dirty Ice Cream!
There’s a cart right in the middle of the restaurant where guests can help
themselves to unlimited servings of classic Filipino-style “dirty” ice
cream.
My family loved this quirky treat. It made the dining experience even more fun, especially for the kids (and the kids-at-heart!).
