πŸ₯” Corn & Cheese Baked Potato – A Curious Ximending Street Snack

When planning our trip to Ximending, we stumbled upon the famous Corn & Cheese Baked Potato — a quirky street snack many travelers list as a must-try when exploring Taipei’s most vibrant shopping district.

At first, we had no idea where to find it. So we wandered through the neon-lit streets of Ximending, surrounded by the aroma of sizzling street food and the buzz of evening crowds. And as fate would have it, we eventually spotted a small stall selling this cheesy creation!

 πŸ§€ First Impressions

To be honest, it didn’t look too fancy — just a baked potato topped with sweet corn, melted cheese sauce, and sometimes bits of ham or bacon. But since it’s one of those “only in Taiwan” snacks, we had to give it a try.

My verdict? It wasn’t bad — soft, creamy, and filling — but it didn’t quite match the excitement of other night market treats. The flavor leaned on the mild side, especially when compared to heavy-hitters like Hot-Star Large Fried Chicken, Taiwan sausages, or bubble tea.

Still, taste is subjective! If you’re a fan of cheesy comfort food or just curious to try something unique, it’s worth a shot. You might like it more than I did. πŸ˜‹
