Vigan has countless hotels, but thanks to a friend’s recommendation, we booked a night at Grandpa’s Inn — a charming old mansion converted into a cozy hotel with a rich antique ambiance.

The inn’s reception welcomes guests with a nostalgic touch. The ground floor feels like a living museum, showcasing old phones, musical instruments, typewriters, kitchen utensils, and other vintage treasures.

Walking around, you’ll feel the history. Peeking out of the window, I caught a glimpse of the street below — it gave me an eerie yet comforting feeling, imagining those who once lived and looked out from the same place.

Just minutes from the famous Calle Crisologo, Grandpa’s Inn is a dream for foodies. Their restaurant, Kusina Felecitas, located on the ground floor, serves local specialties like Vigan longganisa, bagnet, and the unique eggplant omelet called Poqui-poqui.
