28 Must See Attractions in Brunei-Muara District, Brunei Darussalam!
Brunei has 4
Districts only, these are: Belait (Largest), Tutong, Temburong and
Brunei Muara (Smallest). I was only able to visit Brunei Muara, but let
me tell you, even though it's the smallest, it is the site of the
nation's capital, Bandar Seri Begawan, and the center of all commerce.
You will need more than 3 days to fully explore this district.
Brunei Darussalam Day 3: 45-Minute Free Viewing of the City | Istana Nurul Iman|Brunei Arts & Handicrafts Training Centre | Malay Technological Museum | The Empire Hotel & Country Club | Jame'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque
It's
our last day in Brunei, but I'm really looking forward to it because of
the much awaited visit to the 6-Star rated hotel and the biggest Mosque
in Brunei. These are the highlights of our visit in Brunei.
Brunei Darussalam Day 2: Royal Regalia | Tasek Lama Recreational Park | Kampung Ayer | Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque

Even though we had a (mis)adventure on our first day, I'm still excited and looking forward for our second day in Brunei. I love historical sites more than shopping malls and I'm so glad Brunei has a lot to offer.
Brunei Darussalam Day 1: Tamu Kianggeh | National Day Celebration | Tamu Selera | Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque
Travel Date: February 23-25, 2014 (Sunday to Tuesday)
Church of Our Lady of Assumption: The Only Catholic Church in Bandar Seri Begawan
When I was preparing our itinerary my friend told me that I have to include us attending the mass in Brunei. Brunei is a Muslim country so I had to search for the nearest Catholic Church and found the Church of our Lady of Assumption. It's about 15 minutes walk from city proper and along the way are the other attractions in Brunei.
Negara Brunei Darussalam National Day: Abode of Peace
When we booked our trip to Brunei we had no idea that our first day is their National Day, until I started making the itinerary.
Brunei National Day is always celebrated every 23rd of February. It is
the the National Day of Brunei that was first celebrated in 1984. This holiday marks full independence from the United Kingdom in the same year.
