๐Ÿ“ถ Where to Pick Up 4G Pocket Wi-Fi in Taiwan Airports – Taoyuan, Kaohsiung & Songshan

✈️ Stay Connected: Pick Up Your Pocket Wi-Fi at Taiwan Airports

Let’s face it — when you’re traveling abroad, a reliable internet connection is a must. Whether it's for Google Maps, social media, translating signs, or booking last-minute transport, staying online keeps your trip smooth and stress-free.

When I visited Taiwan, I opted for a 4G pocket Wi-Fi instead of a SIM card. It worked like a charm for our group, letting us share the data and stay connected even in remote areas like Cingjing. If you’re planning to do the same, here’s a quick guide on where to pick up and return your Wi-Fi unit, depending on which airport you’re flying into or out of.

4. ๐Ÿ›ฌ Songshan Airport (Taipei)

Tips Before Reserving Your Pocket Wi-Fi

  • ๐Ÿ“Œ Check your arrival airport! Taiwan has three major airports — make sure your pick-up location matches your flight.
  • ๐Ÿ’ป Reserve in advance via Klook or KKDay, especially during peak seasons.
  • ๐Ÿ”‹ Bring a power bank — Wi-Fi units can drain battery fast if used continuously.
  • ๐Ÿ‘จ‍๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿ‘ง‍๐Ÿ‘ฆ If you're traveling with a group, one device is enough for up to 5 users.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Getting your pocket Wi-Fi at the airport is one of the easiest things you can arrange before your Taiwan trip. It saves you the trouble of hunting for SIM cards or dealing with roaming fees, and most importantly — you’ll be connected the moment you land.

  1. Hi! I am just curious. What if I am arriving at around 2AM at the Taoyuan Terminal 1? What are my options for the pick-up of the SIM card? Would it be possible to wait at the airport until 530am when it opens? Is it allowed? Thanks so much.
