Hong Kong Day 1 Itinerary: Ngong Ping Village, Tian Tan Buddha, Po Lin Monastery & Ocean Park
1. Ngong Ping 360
🚠
I wanted to kick off our trip with something memorable, and this scenic
25-minute cable car ride was the perfect choice. The panoramic views of sea and
mountains were just breathtaking.
📸
Tip: Arrive early to beat the crowds and take photos without photobombers.
2. Tian Tan Buddha (Big Buddha)
🪷
Seeing the Big Buddha in person was surreal. Climbing those 268 steps was a
workout—but totally worth it for the peaceful vibe at the top.
🌟
Despite the crowds, it felt peaceful and humbling.
3. Po Lin Monastery
🏯
After the Buddha, I wandered into the monastery next door and was instantly
drawn in by the incense and golden statues.
🧘♀️ Take a moment inside
the main prayer hall to reflect.
4. Ocean Park Hong Kong
🎡
I’d been curious about Ocean Park for years! Even though we arrived late due to
a minor taxi mishap, I’m glad we didn’t skip it. The aquarium and panda exhibit
were definite highlights.
🎢
Plan a full day if you want to experience everything.

Hong Kong Day 2 Itinerary: Kowloon Walled City Park, Peak Tram, The Peak, Trick Eye Museum & Symphony of Lights
5. Kowloon Walled City Park
🌳
This place surprised me. I knew a bit of its dark history, but walking through
the now peaceful park gave me goosebumps in the best way.
🏯
Perfect for history buffs and anyone needing a break from the crowds.
6. Peak Tram & St. John’s Cathedral
⛪
As we made our way to the Peak Tram, I stumbled upon this peaceful cathedral
tucked among high-rises. A quiet break from the buzz.
🧭
Look out for it as you walk to the Peak Tram.
7. Sky Terrace 428 (The Peak)
🌇
Going up to The Peak was a dream come true. The view from the top is something
I’ll never forget.
🌆
Bring a jacket—it gets chilly!
8. Trick Eye Museum
🖼️
I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this as much as I did! It brought out our silly
side, and we ended up taking so many fun photos.
📸
Stand on the floor markers to pose correctly.
9. Symphony of Lights
🎇
I had this show bookmarked for months, but to be honest, the harbor view was
more impressive than the show itself. Still, glad we went.
🚢
Optional: Take a harbor cruise for a better, less crowded view.
Hong Kong Day 3 Itinerary: Nan Lian Garden, Chi Lin Nunnery, Wong Tai Sin Temple & Disneyland Adventure
10. Nan Lian Garden
🌿
This garden felt like a dream—perfectly trimmed trees, koi ponds, and just the
calm I needed after days of walking.
🌸
Feels like a peaceful world inside busy Kowloon.
11. Chi Lin Nunnery
🧘♂️ The serene atmosphere
here was unforgettable. I loved how the wooden halls framed the mountains in
the distance.
🙏
Be respectful—it’s a functioning spiritual site.
12. Wong Tai Sin Temple
🏮
This was one of the more colorful and engaging temples we visited. The fortune
telling and architectural symbolism were fascinating!
🎋
Loved the representation of the five elements in each section.
13. Hong Kong Disneyland
🏰
I saved the most magical for last! Running around the park, finding characters,
and watching the fireworks made me feel like a kid again.
🎠
I ran around like a kid meeting Stitch and Woody—no regrets!

Try the spicy seaweed chips—they were a hit with friends back home!
16. Crystal Jade Restaurant
🍜
After all the walking, this was our treat-yourself moment. Warm noodles, dim
sum, and fast service in a relaxing setting.
