Grandpa's Inn & Restaurant

There are lots of hotels in Vigan, but since we were referred by a friend, we booked a night at the Granpa's Inn.  It's an old house, or more like a mansion, that was converted into a hotel.

Old phones and other antiques displayed at the inn's ground floor
The place has its old and antique ambiance that makes the hotel like  lived-in museum.  Old phones, musical instruments, typewriters, kitchen utensils, etc....were displayed and I'm sure they are all antiques.

I enjoyed viewing the street from the window though it gives me an eerie feeling that someone, in the same place, someone used to do that.

Located just a few minutes away from the popular Calle Crisologo, this hotel is also the perfect place for food lover.  The hotel has its own restaurant, the Kusina Felecitas, where you can try the Vigan longganisa, bagnet and the local eggplant omellet called Poqui-poqui. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the hotel.
Old women's clothes displayed at the 2nd floor
For charcoal grilled favorites, you can go to their Uno Grill located across the hotel. And just beside the entrance is the Cafe Uno for your coffee and pastries craving.

The hotel also offers massage service & tour services for big group. Just ask at the reception desk. I'm not sure if all of the hotels in Vigan is like this one, that has a lot of antique displays.  When we stayed there, I never felt for one moment that I'm in a hotel, it feels like home.
Bagnet & Pinakbet available at Kusina Felecitas
