Once known as the Crocodile Farm & Nature Park, the Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center (PWRCC) is now a haven not only for endangered crocodiles but for other native species like the Palawan bearcat (Binturong), hornbills, and more.

Just across Plaza Cuartel, and a short walk from Rizal Park, stands one of Puerto Princesa’s most captivating landmarks: the Immaculate Conception Cathedral. We initially planned to dine at the scenic Badjao Seafront Restaurant, but after hearing reports about mosquitoes in the area, we pivoted and ended up at Kinabuchs Grill & Bar, one of the most famous local restaurants in Puerto Princesa.

Our final day in Palawan was the perfect send-off—we saved the best for last: island hopping at Honda Bay! Even though we only got to visit two islands, it was more than enough to make me want to come back.
