π₯© A Must-Try Korean BBQ Experience in the Heart of Seoul
If there’s one thing you should not skip in Korea, it’s Korean barbecue.
After exploring Namsangol Hanok Village and walking around Myeongdong, we were hungry—and we wanted something truly Korean. That’s when we decided to try Seoul Bulgogi & Barbeque Restaurant in Myeongdong.
And honestly?
It became one of the most satisfying meals of our trip.
π₯ Our Order: Barbeque Set (Good for 3 People)
We ordered a barbeque set, and it came with:
π₯© Quality cuts of meat
π₯¬
A LOT of side dishes (banchan)
π
Rice
π₯£
Soup
π§
Sauces and dipping condiments
What made the experience even more special?
One of the staff personally grilled and cut the meat for us.
I felt special. π₯Ή
It’s not something we’re used to in the Philippines—having someone expertly grill your meat, flip it at the perfect time, then cut it into bite-sized pieces for you.
That level of service? Chef’s kiss. π
π° How Much We Paid
We paid KRW 53,000 total for the set.
That’s good for 3 people.
For:
- quality meat
- unlimited side dishes
- attentive service
- prime Myeongdong location
It’s honestly not bad at all.
In fact, considering Seoul prices and the quality, I’d say it’s worth it.
π₯’ What to Expect at Seoul Bulgogi & Barbeque
π½️ 1. Generous Side Dishes (Banchan)
Like most Korean BBQ places, the side dishes just keep coming.
You’ll usually get:
- Kimchi
- Pickled radish
- Japchae (glass noodles)
- Fresh lettuce for wrapping
- Garlic and chili slices
- Dipping sauces
And yes—refills are usually free.
π₯ 2. Staff-Assisted Grilling
Not all BBQ restaurants do this.
Here, the staff:
- Grilled the meat properly
- Turned it at the right time
- Cut it evenly
- Made sure it didn’t burn
π‘ Tip: Let them handle it. They know best.
π₯© 3. Quality Meat
Their beef was tender and flavorful.
If you’re visiting, consider trying:
- π₯© Beef bulgogi
- π₯ Samgyeopsal (pork belly)
- π₯© Galbi (marinated short ribs)

π Pair It With Myeongdong Night Market
After dinner, we walked around Myeongdong Night Market again.
Full stomach.
Happy heart.
Bright lights.
Street food everywhere.
It was the perfect way to end the night.
π Sometimes, it’s not just about the food.
It’s about:
- the experience
- the service
- the feeling of trying something authentic
For KRW 53,000 for three people, with quality meat and superb service?
Totally worth it.
And yes, I would go back.
