👣 A Personal Travel Stop I’ll Never Forget
Binuatan Creations was the last stop on our Puerto Princesa tour, and I couldn’t be more grateful we included it. I initially thought it was just another souvenir shop, but the moment I stepped in and saw the artisans at work—everything changed.
I watched local weavers skillfully create colorful textiles from native fibers like buri, pandan, and buntal. It felt like watching music in motion—their hands danced across the looms with practiced precision. I was invited to try it too... and let’s just say, it’s harder than it looks! 😅
That brief moment on the loom gave me deep appreciation for their skill. These aren’t just pretty placemats or handwoven bags—they’re stories told through thread. ✨

💡 Travel Tip!
Bring cash! Some items can be pricey (and rightly so), but many are also affordable. They don’t just sell to tourists—they also export, which speaks volumes about the quality of their work. 📦
Also, if you want to take photos, ask permission from the staff—many of them love sharing their process and are proud of what they do. 📸
