Whenever life gets overwhelming, I find myself longing for a place of peace—and for me, Kamay ni Hesus in Lucban, Quezon is exactly that. More than just a tourist attraction, this healing church is a sacred haven where faith and hope come alive. Whether you’re joining the healing mass, climbing the 300+ steps to the Risen Christ statue, or simply reflecting under the shade of the trees, the experience is deeply moving. It’s not just a church—it's a spiritual journey.
Nestled in the peaceful hills of Lucban, Quezon, the Kamay ni Hesus Healing Church is more than just a church—it is a spiritual refuge where people from all walks of life come to pray for healing, seek peace, and reconnect with their faith.
Located within the Kamay ni Hesus Shrine complex, this church draws thousands of pilgrims each year, many of whom are sick, anxious, or broken-hearted, hoping for a miracle. 🙏
🕊️ A Church Built on Faith and Healing
Just before the steep climb to the Ascending Jesus statue, you’ll find this humble yet sacred structure—the Healing Church.
This is where Reverend Father Joseph "Joey" Faller, a well-known Filipino healing priest and founder of the Kamay ni Hesus Ministry Foundation, Inc., performs healing masses that have touched lives not only in the Philippines but across the world.
✋ The Broken Hand that Heals
Fr. Joey’s story is one of divine purpose.
In 1994, he survived a near-fatal car accident that permanently damaged two of his fingers. While doctors managed to fix one, the other remained visibly bent, resembling the hand of the Resurrected Christ or the Sto. Niño.
Rather than hiding it, Father Joey embraces it as a symbol of his mission, believing it to be God’s way of telling him to “wear His hand” and continue to be His instrument of healing.
🌄 A Peaceful View from the Hill

I’ve visited the Kamay ni Hesus Shrine three times already—and every time, even without attending the mass, I felt a kind of peace that’s hard to explain.
🌿 Whether you’re viewing the church from the hilltop near the statue of Jesus or from the Eden Garden below, the entire place radiates serenity and sacredness.
But on my next visit, I’ve promised myself—I'll come back just to attend the healing mass. That will be my main reason for returning.
🕯️ Candle Station – Light for Petitions
After passing by the statue of Pietà, you’ll find a Candle Station near the exit gate.
Here, you can:
- Light a candle for your prayers or intentions
- Buy candles either on-site or from vendors near the shrine entrance
🕯️ I always light one whenever I visit—it’s a small act, but one filled with meaning.
