Convenient | Budget-Friendly | Tourist-Approved
If you're arriving in Hong Kong early and want to explore right away without the hassle of carrying luggage, the self-service lockers at Citygate Outlets are a perfect solution.
During our recent trip, our flight landed at 7:10 AM — the ideal time for a quick side trip before hotel check-in. Since Ngong Ping 360 is just nearby, we decided to go straight there from the airport, but of course, we needed to leave our bags behind.
📍 Why Choose Citygate Outlets Lockers?
- ✅ Cheaper than luggage services at Ngong Ping Cable Car Terminal
- ✅ Located right beside the Tung Chung MTR and Ngong Ping Cable Car station
- ✅ Self-service means no long queues
- ✅ Multiple locker sizes to fit small to large suitcases
- ✅ Open daily from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM
🚶♀️ How to Get There from the Airport
Bus Station at the Citygate Outlets
|
- Take Bus S1, S56, or S64 to Tung Chung Bus Terminal
- Walk toward the Ngong Ping Cable Car Station, then turn left at the end of the wall
- Look for Circle K and the Tung Chung MTR signage on your right
- Enter Citygate Mall, pass the escalator, and turn right
- You'll find the elevator to Basement Level 2 between K-Swiss and City Chain Outlet
- Lockers are just outside the elevator

🟡 Important Tip: Don’t turn left, that path leads to the restrooms!

We used the lockers on Basement Level 2, though there are more on Level 3. When we arrived, we had the whole area to ourselves, so we took time to figure things out.
🧾 Instructions are in Chinese, but English translations are provided underneath. Just follow the steps carefully.

Turn right if you're going to the elevator or left if you want to use the restroom. |
💰 Since we didn’t have an Octopus Card yet, we paid in cash. But for ease of use, we highly recommend buying an Octopus Card upon arrival — just tap and go!

🔒 We used a Large locker to store:
- 1 small-sized luggage
- 1 medium-sized luggage
It fit perfectly, and we think there was room for one more medium suitcase or another small bag.
⚠️ When we returned at noon,
many tourists were waiting for available lockers.

ReplyDeleteHi there, I think your only writing based from your experience. Question, If I would like to leave it for 4~6 hours, shall I pay HKD 20 or HKD 60? Does it allow you to pay in advance or you just pay for the first two hours and you will pay the excess upon pick-up? Thanks!
