✈️ A Must-Know Transport Hack for First-Time Visitors to Taiwan
If you're a first-time traveler landing at Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) and planning to hop on the High Speed Rail (THSR) to reach cities like Taichung, Tainan, or Kaohsiung, this post is for you.
I’ve taken this route myself and wanted to share an updated, photo-based guide for riding UBUS #705 — the only direct bus from the airport to THSR Taoyuan Station.
No guesswork, no stress — just follow the signs, and you're on your way!
π️ Step-by-Step: How to Ride UBUS #705
π Important: Buy Your Bus Ticket Before Boarding
UBUS does not accept payment inside the bus, so make sure you purchase your ticket in advance. Here's how:

- The signs are clear, but if unsure, ask a staff member at the counter.
