🏨 My Stay Experience

When I returned to Bohol with my family, I chose Ocean Suites so we could recharge after a day of island exploration.

📍 The hotel sits right beside the Blood Compact Monument, easily accessible via the national highway. It’s only:

• 🚖 10 minutes (5 km) from Tagbilaran Airport & Seaport
• 🛍️ Close to malls & city conveniences
• 🏝️ 15 minutes from Panglao’s white sand beaches and the future International Airport
• 🕌 Near top attractions like Baclayon Church, Loboc River Cruise, Tarsier Conservation Center, and Chocolate Hills

They offer one-way transfers from seaport, airport, and bus terminal. In our case, I booked our trusted van driver (same one I used during a previous Bohol trip with friends)—but it’s nice to know the option is there!

☕ Dinner & Snacks at the Café

Arriving late and exhausted, we went straight to their café for snacks while my nanay rested in the room. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air—so inviting!

Here’s what we ordered:
🥗 Beef & Mango Salad – grilled beef strips with fresh mango, sprouts, and lettuce in sweet ginger dressing
🍜 Pancit Canton – yellow noodles with seafood, meat, and veggies
🍕 Hawaiian Pizza – ham, mushroom, and pineapple (our family favorite!)
🥭 Green Mango Shake (my pick) + 🍫🍌 Chocolate Banana Shake (my niece’s pick)

Prices? Very affordable compared to other hotels! We also checked their small souvenir shop while waiting, though I recommend buying pasalubong outside for better deals.

🌅 Morning Views & Breakfast

Since we arrived at night, we missed the scenery. But in the morning, pulling back the curtains revealed a breathtaking sunrise over the sea. Simple joys like this are priceless, especially for us who grew up in the province.

Breakfast was included in our stay at Azure Restaurant. Honestly, the buffet selection was limited and a bit oily compared to the café food—but hey, it’s free. 😉

We didn’t have time to dip in their infinity pool, so we just took some quick photos before heading out for another day of Bohol adventures.
