✨ Playtime at Toy Size
Toy Story Land – Hong Kong Disneyland
After Fantasyland, we went straight to Toy Story Land—this was one attraction I would not miss.
I’ve always loved Toy Story, so I was really happy that we were able to visit this part of Hong Kong Disneyland. The moment you step inside, everything feels oversized—blocks, toys, and game pieces towering above you—making you feel like you’ve been shrunk down and left in Andy’s backyard.
๐ค It’s colorful, playful, and full of childhood energy.
๐ค Why Toy Story Land Was a Must for Me
We spent a good amount of time here—walking around, taking photos, and just enjoying the atmosphere.
One of the highlights was meeting Woody.
We had our photos taken with him, and we even got to chat for a bit. That made the experience extra special. We found out that Woody is also a Filipino, which honestly made me smile even more. ๐ต๐ญ๐
We talked for a while, but when more tourists started arriving, he had to say goodbye.
✨ Short moment, but definitely one I’ll remember.
๐ข The Rides (Fun to Watch… But I’ll Pass ๐ )
We spent some time watching the rides, and they honestly looked fun—but I already knew myself.
I still wouldn’t try them.
LOL.
That said, here’s what you’ll find in Toy Story Land if you’re braver than me:
๐ RC Racer
The most thrilling ride in the land.
- A U-shaped coaster that swings back and forth
- Gives you a weightless feeling at the top
- Short ride, but very intense
๐ฒ Watching people scream was already enough excitement for me!
๐ Slinky Dog Spin
A gentler, family-friendly ride.
- Spinning ride with bright colors
- Smooth and playful
- Great for kids and first-time riders
๐ถ This one looks fun and not too scary—but I still chose to enjoy it from afar.
๐งธ Toy Soldier Parachute Drop
A mild drop ride.
- Slow ascent with views of the park
- Gentle drops—not extreme
- Perfect for kids who want a little thrill
๐ It looks scarier than it actually is, but I was happy just watching people enjoy it.
๐ธ Best Photo Spots in Toy Story Land
๐ธ Don’t leave without these shots:
- With Woody or Buzz Lightyear
- Oversized Toy Story blocks and letters
- RC Racer track in the background
- Army men figures around the land
✨ This land is very photogenic—bright colors everywhere.
๐จ๐ฉ๐ง๐ฆ Is Toy Story Land Family-Friendly?
Very much so.
- Great for kids and kids-at-heart
- Open spaces and clear paths
- High-energy but not overwhelming
๐ง Even if you don’t ride, just being here is fun.
๐ Updates to Know (2025–2026)
- RC Racer still has the longest wait time in the land
- Character meet-and-greets happen regularly
- Midday heat can be intense—little shade
- Nighttime lighting makes the land even more playful
๐ก Tips for Enjoying Toy Story Land (Even If You Don’t Ride)
✔ Come early or late afternoon
to avoid heat
✔ Prioritize character meet-and-greets
✔ Watch rides if you’re unsure—it’s entertaining
✔ Take photos first before crowds build
๐ Loving the Land Without Riding
Toy Story Land proved something important to me—you don’t have to ride everything to enjoy Disneyland.
Meeting Woody, chatting with him, taking photos, and simply being in a place inspired by a movie I love was already more than enough.
๐ค Some magic is loud and
fast.
Some magic is quiet, familiar, and full of heart.
๐ฟ Lakwatserang Ligaw Quote
๐“Sometimes, joy isn’t about how brave we are—it’s about knowing what makes us happy and choosing it without apology.”๐ซ
