๐Ÿš‹ How to Get to the Peak Tram Lower Terminus in Hong Kong – Easy Step-by-Step Guide with Photos

If it’s your first time visiting Hong Kong, you’ll want a detailed guide on how to get to the Peak Tram Lower Terminus. While it may seem confusing at first, getting there is actually easy—and scenic!

We met with our Klook representative at Central MTR Station (Exit K) to redeem our Peak Tram Combo Voucher. This gave us fast-track access and helped us skip the long queue at the ticket window. But going back? We navigated it on our own—smooth and simple.

Here’s a photo-assisted, step-by-step guide from both Central and Admiralty MTR stations so you won’t get lost.

๐Ÿ›ค️ From Central MTR Station – Exits K and J2

๐Ÿšถ Exit K Route:

1. Exit K leads to Statue Square, directly facing the HSBC Main Building.

2. Walk through the HSBC ground floor, often filled with domestic helpers on weekends.

3. Once outside, you’ll see a yellow building on your upper left—that’s St. John's Cathedral (rear side).

4. Turn left facing Cheung Kong Centre and Bank of China Tower.

5. Garden Road runs between these towers; follow it uphill with St. John's Cathedral on your right.

6. Continue walking until you see the Peak Tram Fountain and the queue of people.

You’ll eventually meet up with the same route coming from Exit K.

Whichever exit you choose, you'll end up walking along Garden Road, past the St. John's Cathedral, toward the Lower Albert Road intersection.

๐Ÿ“ Arriving at Peak Tram Lower Terminus

Once you cross the pedestrian lane by the fountain, you’ll arrive at the Peak Tram Lower Terminus.

๐Ÿ›‘ Tip: Lines can get very long! Buying a combo ticket via Klook lets you skip the line and enter through the express lane on the left.

๐Ÿ›ค️ From Admiralty MTR Station – Exit C1

  • Take Exit C1, cross the pedestrian bridge over Queensway into Pacific Place Mall.
  • Use the escalators inside to get to the top level, then exit to Hong Kong Park.
  • Walk through the park (follow signs) until you reach the Peak Tram Terminus.

๐ŸŽŸ️ Fast-Track Entry Tip: Book via Klook

We highly recommend buying the Peak Tram + Sky Terrace + Madame Tussauds combo ticket on Klook. It’s convenient and saves a lot of time.

๐Ÿ’ก Klook guests get access to a special express lane, located on the left side of the terminus—perfect for skipping the long ticket lines.
