πŸš† How to Get to Flower Market Road in Hong Kong: MTR, Bus, or Airport

“I Smelled It Before I Saw It” — My Journey to One of Kowloon’s Most Fragrant Corners

If there’s one place in Hong Kong that tickles both your senses and your curiosity, it’s Flower Market Road. I wasn’t even sure I was going the right way at first—just following the trail of sweet, floral air wafting through the streets of Mong Kok. 🌸

Finding the market wasn’t hard, but getting there efficiently from different parts of the city? That’s another story. That’s why I put this guide together — for anyone like me who prefers to skip the trial-and-error and go straight to the blooms (and maybe grab a few selfies along the way). πŸ’‍♀️πŸ“Έ

So whether you’re coming from Tsim Sha Tsui, Causeway Bay, or even the airport — here's how to find your way to one of Hong Kong’s most photogenic streets, step by step.

πŸͺ» How to Get to Hong Kong's Flower Market Road

Whether you're arriving from Nathan Road, Hong Kong Island, or even the airport, here's how to find your way to the Flower Market — one of the most vibrant and fragrant spots in Kowloon.

πŸš† From Nathan Road (Kowloon)

Nathan Road stretches across Kowloon, so your strategy depends on where you start:

🟒 If You’re Near the Northern End

Just a 5-minute walk east along Prince Edward Road will take you to the market.

πŸ”΄ If You’re Near the Southern End (Golden Mile)

Walking isn’t practical — take the MTR instead.

Directions via MTR:

  1. Enter the Tsuen Wan Line via:
    • 🟩 Tsim Sha Tsui Station, or
    • 🟧 Jordan Station
  2. Ride northbound and exit at Prince Edward Station, Exit B1
  3. Upon reaching street level:
    • Turn around to face the MTR entrance
    • Walk right side of the entrance, going east along Prince Edward Road
  4. Landmarks you’ll pass:
    • πŸš“ Mong Kok Police Station (left)
    • πŸš— Elevated Road (right and above)
  5. After 3 blocks, turn left on Sai Yee Street, then immediately right into Flower Market Road

🏡️ Bonus Tip: The entire area, including Sai Yee Street and Prince Edward Road, is filled with flower shops — it's worth exploring beyond the main road!
