🎨 How to Create a Custom Blog Logo with CoolText and Photoshop

Before you start designing your logo, it’s important to know your blog’s width to make sure your logo fits perfectly in your header!

📏 Step 1: Check Your Blog Width

  1. Go to your blog dashboard.
  2. Click TemplateCustomizeAdjust Widths.
  3. Note your blog’s entire width.
  4. Click Back to Blogger when done.

Knowing this width helps you size your logo perfectly!

🌐 Step 2: Create Your Logo on CoolText

If Photoshop feels intimidating, don’t worry! You can easily make a logo online at CoolText.com, which offers tons of design options.

  • Visit CoolText.
  • Browse the designs and pick one you like. For this blog, I chose the “Iceberg” design.

⚠️ Note: Changing the design resets all your previous changes.

✍️ Step 3: Customize Your Logo Text and Style

Once you select a design, you’ll be taken to a new window where you can:

  • Type your logo text in the “Logo Text” box.
  • Choose your font, size, color, and opacity.
  • Customize the background pattern, shadow style, shadow color, and opacity.
  • Set the alignment and size of your logo based on your blog width.

💾 Step 4: Download Your Logo

  • When you’re happy with the design, choose your preferred file format:
    • .PSD (Photoshop with Layers) if you want to edit it later in Photoshop.
    • .PNG (with Transparency) if you want a ready-to-use transparent logo.
  • Click Create Logo.

You’ll be redirected to a new window where you can download or edit your logo.

🖥️ Step 5: Edit Your Logo in Photoshop (Optional)

If you downloaded the .PSD file, it will open automatically in Photoshop with layers intact — perfect for adding more text or images.

You can always return to CoolText to create new texts or designs.

👍 Creating a logo is easy and fun with CoolText, especially if you’re new to graphic design. Remember to size your logo according to your blog width for a clean and professional look.
