🐟 Snorkeling in Boracay: A Second Chance at Snorkeling 🐠

Snorkeling in Boracay is one of the island’s classic activities — loved by many. But my first experience back in 2010? Honestly, I was scared! The shadowy underwater plants made me nervous, and I only dared to peek for a few seconds before floating around in my life vest.
Fast-forward to today, and I finally get it — snorkeling can be amazing! πŸŽ‰

🐟 Why This Time Was Different

This trip, we snorkeled near Crocodile Island, and the abundant fish and vibrant coral made all the difference. Even though it was drizzling with strong waves, the adventure was worth every second.

πŸ—Ί️ Tip: Snorkeling is usually part of island hopping tours. Our package included a snorkeling stop before visiting the islands.

πŸ“Έ Tips for the Best Snorkeling Experience

  • Bring an underwater camera πŸ“· to capture those magical underwater moments.
  • Ask the boatman for help πŸ™‹‍♂️ — they’re pros at taking photos and feeding fish.
  • Don’t forget soft bread or fish food 🍞 — it attracts fish and makes the experience even cooler!

We forgot ours, but the friendly boatmen shared some, and we even used our burger buns! πŸ˜…

πŸ’Έ What to Expect: Price & Duration

  • Package Price: ₱1,500 for 3 persons
  • Duration: About 3 hours total, with under 1 hour of snorkeling
  • Gear Provided: Mask, snorkel, and life vest included πŸ₯½

πŸ₯₯ Refreshing Breaks & Local Vendors

We enjoyed fresh buko juice sold right from boats during breaks — a bit pricey but totally refreshing. (Though I didn’t see vendors on my recent visit, so this might have changed.)

🧳 If you’ve hesitated before, don’t! Boracay snorkeling offers a vibrant, colorful underwater world that’s perfect for beginners and nature lovers alike. It might not rival Coron’s depths or Honda Bay’s spread, but its charm is undeniable. 🌊🐠

πŸ‘‰ Quick Snorkeling Checklist:
