🍽️ Big Smoke Boracay Review: Affordable Filipino Breakfast & Classic Dishes

Beef Salpicao - Php150.00
During our Boracay trip, a good friend and frequent visitor recommended Big Smoke Restaurant—a go-to spot for delicious Filipino dishes that won’t break the budget.

We arrived early, dropped our luggage at the hotel, and headed straight here for a hearty breakfast.

🥩 What We Ordered:

  • Beef Salpicao – ₱150
Tender, garlicky beef that hits the spot.
  • Beef Tapa with Garlic Rice and Egg – ₱140
Classic Filipino breakfast comfort food, perfect to fuel a busy day.
  • Fried Tuyo (Sun-Dried Fish) – ₱25 for 4 pieces
(Available on request, depending on supply)

Beef Tapa with Garlic Rice and Egg - Php140.00

🍴 Atmosphere & Vibe

Big Smoke feels like home, with simple wooden tables and chairs, offering classic Filipino dishes in a casual setting. It’s not flashy or Instagram-worthy, but the food tastes like mom’s cooking—comforting and familiar.

⏳ Worth the Wait?

The food took a bit of time, but honestly, I was just too hungry to care. While nothing here is mind-blowingly special, it’s reliable and satisfying for those craving authentic Filipino flavors.
