π¦ First Impressions: A Hotel with a Dinosaur Arch?!
On my second visit to Quezon Province, I finally gave in to curiosity and booked a room at Quezon Premier Hotel – Lucena, famous for its dinosaur statue and castle-like arch. Honestly, I thought it was a theme park at first glance!
π TIP: The actual hotel is tucked behind the Sioland Starshop. Walk past the building to find the main property.
π️ Room & Accommodation Experience
I stayed in a standard suite for ₱1,650/night (for 2 pax, breakfast included). The room was okay, but there’s room for improvement:
- πΏ No shower curtain – expect wet floors after bathing
- π️ Sofa with holes and dirty bedsheets
- ☎️ Non-working phone in the room
- π¨ Scary moment: Someone tried turning my doorknob on the first night; staff brushed it off as a “mistake”
𧳠First time traveling alone — I was honestly shaken. Not the best feeling for solo female travelers.
π½️ Dining at Green Nature Restaurant
I liked the wooden interiors — cozy and charming — but the breakfast was disappointing:
- ❌ No options
- ❄️ Food served cold
- ✅ Beef tapa was okay
π♂️ Facilities & Events
- π Swimming pool is open to the public (can get crowded)
- π King’s Palace Function Hall: Can host up to 500 guests, venue-only rate ₱15,000
- πΈ Website photos are outdated — what you see online isn’t always what you get

π Would I stay again? Not unless they improve. I love the concept and the effort to provide unique aesthetics, but safety, cleanliness, and food service are non-negotiables for me. π₯΄
If you're planning to stay here, just manage your expectations, especially if you’re used to higher-end accommodations.
