"A Holy Week Pilgrimage Route for the Soul and the Curious Traveler"
๐Ÿ“ Cebu, Philippines | ✝️ 7 Churches for Reflection, Prayer, and Exploration | ๐Ÿ“… Holy Week 2026 Suggested Route

A Personal Way to Reconnect — One Church at a Time

Just in case you're in Cebu during Holy Week or planning to visit, and you're interested in doing Visita Iglesia, here’s a curated route based on the churches we visited during our trip to Simala.

When we explore, we always start with the farthest location from our accommodation. That way, we won't have trouble returning even if it’s already evening. It also gives us a more relaxed pace heading back to the city.

Each church along this route gave me a moment — to pause, to reflect, and to connect with my faith. Some churches were open, others I admired only from the outside, but all of them left something with me. ๐Ÿ’›
