๐Ÿ™️ Hong Kong Day 3 Itinerary: Nan Lian Garden, Chi Lin Nunnery, Wong Tai Sin Temple & Disneyland Adventure

๐ŸŒ… Morning Calm: Nature, Peace & Pagodas

๐Ÿฅข 8:00 AM – Breakfast at Jade Cafรฉ, Silka Seaview Hotel

We woke up a bit groggy from the previous day but eager to explore again. It’s always a good idea to wake up early when traveling—not just to catch hotel breakfasts, but to maximize your day. Our hotel stay at Silka Seaview included one free breakfast, so we had to pay extra for my friend. There was a language barrier with the cafรฉ staff, which led to a funny moment where she almost blocked my friend from entering. The food wasn’t great, but hey, at least we tried it.

๐ŸŒ‡ Hong Kong Day 2 Itinerary: Kowloon Walled City Park, Peak Tram, The Peak, Trick Eye Museum & Symphony of Lights

After a full day at Ocean Park, we knew we’d be too tired to travel far, so we booked a hotel on the island to rest for the night. We didn’t get to explore the area much since we arrived late and knocked out as soon as we hit the bed. It was a tiring day, but a good one—and the next morning, we were back on our feet and ready for another Hong Kong adventure.

๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ฐ Hong Kong Day 1 Itinerary: Ngong Ping Village, Tian Tan Buddha, Po Lin Monastery & Ocean Park

✈️ We landed in Hong Kong early in the morning, sleepy but excited to begin our 4-day adventure. There was no time to waste — we hit the ground running right after our red-eye flight! It was my third time traveling abroad, but the thrill of exploring a new city never gets old. ๐Ÿ˜

๐Ÿฎ Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple Hong Kong – Wishes, Fortune Telling & Taoist Traditions Under One Roof

Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple, or simply Wong Tai Sin Temple, is one of the busiest and most visited religious sites in Hong Kong. Unlike the tranquil Nan Lian Garden and Chi Lin Nunnery, this temple is vibrant, crowded, and very much alive with worshippers, tourists, and the thick scent of incense.

๐Ÿฏ Kowloon Walled City Park: A Beautiful Garden with a Dark Past

When you visit Kowloon Walled City Park today, you’d never guess that this peaceful oasis was once the most densely populated — and lawless — place on Earth. Nestled quietly near Lok Fu, this lush Chinese-style garden hides a chilling and fascinating past that stretches back to the Qing Dynasty. I visited this park during my Hong Kong trip out of pure curiosity. I had read about its chaotic history and wanted to see what has become of the infamous "City of Darkness."
