๐ป Jeepneys operate on specific schedules. If you miss the last trip, consider these options:
- ๐ก Find nearby lodging
- ๐ถ Walk to your destination if it’s close
- ๐งญ Ask locals—they’re kind and very helpful!
๐ Don’t worry about walking after dark. Marinduque is peaceful and safe, even at night.

๐ฌ Friendly Local Tip
๐ฅ “Marinduqueรฑos are
known for their kindness and honesty.”
If you're unsure where to go, just ask! Locals often go the extra
mile—literally—to help travelers find their way, even walking you to the right
terminal.

I recently returned to Marinduque after nearly 4 years, and I was pleasantly surprised by the improvements at Balanacan Port. The area is cleaner, more organized, and (thankfully) the comfort rooms now seem to have doors! ๐
