๐Ÿ’‰ Affordable Pregnancy & Baby Vaccination Tips in Metro Manila – 2025 Guide

๐Ÿฉบ My Journey to Finding Affordable Vaccinations

When my OB-Gyn first told me I needed to get vaccinated during pregnancy, my initial thought was, “Oh no, another hospital expense!” ๐Ÿ˜…

I knew how important vaccinations were — both for me and my baby — but the prices at hospitals were too much for my budget.

That’s when I started doing my own research. I checked online, asked around, and visited a few clinics. After several calls and price comparisons, I found a much more affordable option through Hi-Precision Diagnostics (HPD).

๐Ÿ’ก How It Works: Getting Vaccinations from Hi-Precision Diagnostics

Here’s how I did it step-by-step — super easy and practical for expecting moms like me:

  1. Contact HPD first. Call or email them and send a photo of your doctor’s vaccination request. They’ll confirm which vaccines you need.
  2. Place your order online. Go to their online store and order the vaccine you need.
  3. Wait for delivery to your chosen branch. Once your order arrives at the HPD branch, contact them to book your vaccination appointment.
  4. Doctor-administered and included! A doctor will give you the vaccine for free as part of your payment.
  5. Plan your doses. For vaccines with intervals, make sure to order your next one at least a week before your scheduled date.

I wasn’t able to finish all my doses since I gave birth earlier than expected — good thing I didn’t pre-order everything, or it would’ve gone to waste!

๐Ÿ’ฐ Sample Vaccine Prices (Hi-Precision Diagnostics 2025)

Here are a few sample prices from HPD’s current listings:

  • Flu Vaccine (Quadrivalent): ₱1,450
  • Tetanus Toxoid Vaccine: ₱418.80
  • Hepatitis B Vaccine: ₱2,000
  • Pneumococcal Vaccine (PCV13): ₱5,550
  • HPV Vaccine (4 Strains): ₱4,590

These are much cheaper than the rates I was quoted at the hospital! You can even order online and choose the branch nearest you — super convenient.

๐Ÿฅ About Hi-Precision Diagnostics

Hi-Precision Diagnostics is one of the biggest medical laboratories in the Philippines. They have several branches offering vaccines and health services for both adults and children. I liked how systematic they were and how easy it was to book everything online.

๐Ÿ‘ถ Free Vaccinations for Your Baby at the Barangay

After giving birth, I found out that babies need several vaccinations too. My baby’s pediatrician offered them, but the total cost surprised me! Then I learned something very helpful: barangays provide free baby vaccinations! ๐ŸŽ‰

So I went to Barangay Ususan Health Center in Taguig, and here’s how it worked for us:

  1. Ask for the vaccination schedule. Barangays usually have fixed immunization days.
  2. Go early on the scheduled date. It gets busy fast, so being early helps.
  3. Bring your baby’s record/book. They’ll write down the vaccines given.
  4. Get free vitamins and paracetamol! Yes, they provide those too.
  5. Ask your pedia which vaccines aren’t free. Some may still need to be done privately (e.g., special or imported brands).

I didn’t realize how much money we could save just by knowing this! So if you’re a new mom, check your local barangay — you might be surprised at how helpful their services are.

๐Ÿ“ Barangay Ususan, Taguig also offers family planning services and even free contraceptive pills.

๐ŸŒธ Updates and Additional Tips

  • Always check HPD’s site for updated prices and available vaccines.
  • Call ahead before visiting — some vaccines require advance ordering.
  • Keep your baby’s vaccination book updated to avoid confusion later.
  • If you’re in Taguig, you can also follow Barangay Ususan’s Facebook page for announcements.

๐Ÿ’– Becoming a mom has taught me that love and protection start even before you hold your baby in your arms. Taking care of yourself during pregnancy — from getting the right nutrition to completing your vaccinations — is one of the greatest acts of love you can give your child.

Don’t be afraid to ask questions, look for options, and make wise choices. You don’t need to spend a fortune to be a good mom — you just need patience, awareness, and a heart full of love. ๐Ÿ’•

Every little step you take now, no matter how small, is part of your beautiful journey of motherhood.
