๐ฐ The Old England Manor – A Fairytale Hotel in the Clouds of Cingjing
When we were planning our Cingjing itinerary, I stumbled upon this stunning, castle-like hotel that looked straight out of a storybook — The Old England Manor. It’s just a few minutes away from the bed and breakfast we were staying at, and I immediately thought, “We have to stop by there for an afternoon snack!” ☕
At least, that was the plan.
๐ A Missed Visit After a Long Day
After spending the afternoon exploring Cingjing Farm, we were completely exhausted. The fog, the walking, the photos, the cold — everything caught up to us. By the time we finished, the sun had already set, and most establishments were closing for the day.
We still passed by The Old England Manor on our way back, its glowing lights barely visible through the mist, and I remember thinking, “Maybe tomorrow.”
๐ Morning at The Old England Manor
So the next morning, we made it happen. We woke up early, ate breakfast at our B&B, and decided to make use of the time before our driver arrived. The Manor stood proudly in the distance — elegant, gothic, and dreamy. You could see it clearly from our accommodation, surrounded by lush green hills and drifting fog.
We walked there and took several photos, just soaking in the view. The building’s architecture is breathtaking — tall spires, stone walls, and an atmosphere that instantly transports you to Europe. ๐ฐ✨
I couldn’t help but imagine what it must feel like to stay there for a night — waking up to the cool Cingjing breeze, sipping tea on their terrace, and enjoying that picturesque mountain view. Hopefully someday, I’ll come back not just to admire it from the outside, but to experience staying inside the manor itself.
