๐ TLC Village Taguig –
Lights, Love, and Lakeside Strolls
๐ A Spontaneous Stop on Our Way Home
We discovered TLC Village purely by accident. It was Valentine’s Day, and we had just finished eating at Mercado del Lago nearby. On our way home using our e-bikes, we noticed a lively crowd across the road — lights, laughter, and the sound of music filling the air.
Curiosity got the best of us. We parked our e-bikes at the free parking area and decided to check it out. What we thought would be a quick look-around turned into a lovely, unplanned date night. ❤️
๐ What is TLC Village in Taguig?
TLC Village is part of the Taguig Lakefront Community (TLC) Park, a lakeside recreation area along C6 Road in Barangay Lower Bicutan. It’s one of the newest community hangout spots in Taguig — peaceful on weekdays, but full of life during weekends and holidays.
This area transforms depending on the season — from a quiet park to a festive wonderland.
✨ Key Features & Attractions
๐ก 1. Lights Parks & Seasonal Displays
During Christmas, TLC Village hosts “Lights of Christmas” and “Christmas by the Lake”, complete with animated decorations, sparkling tunnels, and Instagram-worthy light scenes.
By February, it turns romantic with “Love at the Park”, where heart-shaped arches, glowing love signs, and romantic music set the mood for Valentine’s Day.
๐ด 2. Mercado del Lago (Next Door!)
Located just beside TLC Village is Mercado del Lago, a floating food park along Laguna Lake. It’s known for its cozy nipa huts over the water, local food stalls, and live band performances.
If you’re planning a visit, it’s best to grab dinner at Mercado del Lago before heading to TLC Village for an after-meal stroll.

๐ด 3. Recreational Spaces
The whole TLC Park area is designed for outdoor fun:
- Scenic walkways perfect for sunset strolls
- A bike lane where we often bring our e-bikes
- A pet-friendly park where fur parents can chill
- And an open space used for community concerts and events
You’ll often find families here — kids running around, couples taking photos, and groups practicing dance routines or fitness activities.
๐ถ 4. Events & Gatherings
Throughout the year, Taguig City hosts small concerts, bazaars, and holiday programs in the park. It’s a true community space — lively but still relaxing, especially by the lakeside where you can watch the city lights reflect on the water.
