When we traveled to Taiwan, our first stop was Cingjing, a scenic highland area in Nantou County. It’s quite a distance from Taipei, but I’ll say this upfront: Cingjing was the best spot we visited during that entire trip.
๐ก Why We Chose Cingjing Spring Ground B&B

They didn’t have an official website at the time, so we booked through Agoda, then followed up by contacting the host directly to confirm our reservation and ask for details.
From the start, the hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating — even offering to drive us to Cingjing Farm without charging extra. That simple gesture meant a lot, especially for first-time visitors navigating the mountains.
๐ The View? Absolutely Breathtaking

The moment we arrived, we were greeted by panoramic mountain views, rolling fog, and the calming sound of nature. The B&B is perched right next to the famous Old England Manor, so you get similar postcard-worthy views without the luxury price tag.
It’s quiet, refreshing, and perfect for anyone wanting a peaceful escape from the city.

๐ Would I Stay Here Again?

Absolutely yes. Cingjing Spring Ground B&B might not be a five-star resort, but it gives you something better: warm service, unforgettable views, and genuine comfort. It's the kind of place you book when you want to disconnect from the city and reconnect with nature — without breaking the bank.

We didn’t get to explore the Old Manor next door due to time constraints, but it’s high on my list for next time. I’d also stay at Spring Ground again, without hesitation.
