Queen Margarette Hotel

Queen Margarette Hotel is the only big hotel in Southern Tagalog that caters to seminars, weddings, and other big events. It can't be compared to other 5-Star hotels in Manila, but it's popular in that region.
I always see this hotel from the bus every time I go home to Marinduque, and I wanted to check it for a very long time. I finally had a chance when we visited Kamay ni Hesus in Lucban, Quezon and need a place to stay.
Hotel's Lobby
The hotel is located along the highway and can easily be spotted. The actual rooms and event halls is located far behind the reception area, the building that can be seen from the road.
Entrance to Emerald Garden
The hotel is conveniently located about 10 minutes away from Diversion Road, where you'll find Jollibee and Chowking. That's where the jeepney terminal going to Kamay ni Hesus is located.
Hair Dryer that actually works! Other hotels put this just for show
I've been to Quezon Province 3 times and I stayed in this hotel twice. I stayed in Quezon Hotel the 2nd time but I still preferred the Queen Margarette. The hotel staff is very accommodating and helpful.
One of the receptionists even gave me her personal medicine when I had a headache and asked if the hotel have one. She didn't even wait for their clinic to give me one, find her own and gave one to me.
Hotel's Executive Rooms
It’s not like a five-star hotel but it’s quite beautiful on its own way. I love their staircases at the main lobby! I didn’t have much time to explore the hotel but I will definitely stay here again, with my family.
Emerald Garden where they serve buffet breakfast

They have 2 restaurants; one of them is the Kim Suy Restaurant that specializes in Chinese cuisine.  I never liked their food though, because it tasted bland. The next time I stay here, I’ll make sure to try their international cuisine at Emerald Garden.
Massage/Spa House
Buffet breakfast is included in the room rates and what's good is even if you just added an extra bed, the additional person is free of breakfast too. Unlike some of the hotels, only the 2 persons are free of breakfast. Kids breakfast is half the price. If you don’t want to eat at the hotels, there's Shakey's and Tapa King along the highway, 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
The hotel also has a bar, The King's Bar, and they have a show every Saturday. I wasn't able to go there because I'm with my family. It also has 2 swimming pools, one for kids and for adults. These were under construction when I first stayed in the hotel. For those who want to relax, they also have a massage/spa house near the pool.

There are two branches of this hotel, so make sure you booked at the right one.  We stayed at the main branch that is located along the highway. It’s one of hotels in Lucena City that is near to Kamay ni Hesus shrine.

Room rates are cheaper if you book directly rather than Agoda or other hotel bookings website. They don't offer extra bed, but if you book directly, there's an option for extra bed. I highly recommend this hotel.
