Adding Facebook Like & Share buttons helps increase engagement and makes it easy for your readers to share your content. Here's how you can add them in just a few simple steps!
🔗 Step 1: Visit the Facebook Button Generator
Go to this link:

📌 Note: If you're managing a page, make sure you're logged in to your personal Facebook account. If prompted, click "Switch" to proceed.
⚙️ Step 2: Customize Your Button
Once the page loads:
1️⃣ Paste your blog's URL
into the input field.
2️⃣ Select the button layout you want (Like
button only, or Like + Share).
3️⃣ Adjust the design settings (width, size, language,
etc.) in the Settings panel below the "Get Code"
button.
💡 Tip: Use the preview on the right to see how it will appear on your blog.
💻 Step 3: Get the Code
Once you're happy with how it looks, click “Get Code.”
You’ll receive two code snippets:
- The first code goes in the <head> or just above the </body> tag
- The second code is for where you want the buttons to appear
🧱 Step 4: Add the Code to Your Blog
1️⃣ Go to your blog’s Dashboard → Layout
2️⃣ Choose the section where you want the buttons to
appear (e.g., sidebar, footer)
3️⃣ Click “Add a Gadget” → choose “HTML/JavaScript”
4️⃣ Paste both codes into the box:
- First code goes at the top
- Second code follows directly below it
5️⃣ Click “Save”
🧩 You’ll now see the gadget appear in your Layout panel.
